The Academy Awards 2015!
And that’s a wrap on Awards Season 2015. The 87th Academy Awards were held last night with all of Hollywood’s finest in attendance. Neil Patrick Harris hosted the gig, starting off on a high note with a musical number (shocker!) with a little help from Anna Kendrick and Jack Black. After the elaborate introduction, the actors took to the stage to hand out the rest of the awards.

Channeling history has become immensely popular among the films this season. The range of films this season sparked a lot of buzz, channeling major figures in history. They range anywhere from a biopic of a famous scientist or following a long walk in the wild. Selma tackles a different area of history, focusing on a semi biopic of Martin Luther King Jr., and the events that took place in the south during the 1960’s.
