It’s Jennifer Lawrence versus the media once again. JLaw, who has repeatedly shared her hatred for social media, turned to Facebook surprisingly to set some things straight.
During the recent press tour for Mockingjay: Part 2, Lawrence joked around about her bad hygiene with MTV. “I told MTV I didn’t wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world,” Lawrence shared on her Facebook page.
Turns out it has been the talk of the town during the recent press junkets. Obviously, she was JOKING yet, the media took advantage and clearly didn’t get the joke. Classic JLaw however, figured out a way to clear up the nasty hygiene rumors while sticking to her comedic guns.
Lawrence posted a video on her rarely used Facebook page, along with some explanation. Lawrence shared, “Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can’t believe I’ve put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumors I’ve ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest.”
The video shows Jen in her hotel bathroom washing her hands after complaining about a “weird toilet.” While washing her hands (point proven!) someone informs her that it isn’t a toilet and it is a bidet. However, classic JLaw slides right in with the jokes saying, “It’s not a toilet? Then I don’t have to wash my hands!” And she simply continues among her day.
Leave it to JLaw to have to put THIS rumor to rest! Watch the video below!
