5 Movies To Look Forward To This March

With Award Season behind us it’s time to shift focus and check out some new movies. Now these movies may not pack in all that ~awards flare~ but they are sure to hold some entertainment for a couple of hours. March has a HUGE variety of films coming out so you are sure to find something that you will like. Let’s take a look and preview what is in store!!

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

In The Second Best Marigold Hotel we are reunited with our favorite senior citizen gang! In the sequel to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (really got clever with the name on this one, huh???) we catch up with the gang as they are planning an expansion to the hotel. If anything the ensemble cast makes it worth seeing this film. Check out the trailer below.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent

Tris and Four are back! Insurgent will pick up where Divergent left off. If the movie is anything like the book, this one will sure hold more surprises, more character development, and build upon the world that was created in Divergent. Check out the action packed trailer below.

Cinderella

Disney is bringing another fairy tale back to life. Lily James, Cate Blanchett, and Helena Bonham Carter team up to play around with glass slippers, ball gowns, and giant pumpkins. Check out the trailer below.

Like Sunday, Like Rain

Like Sunday, Like Rain tackled the film festival route and is finally coming to a theatre near you. (Also VOD!) I stumbled upon this film when checking out some new trailers on iTunes and it looks like a great independent film. Leighton Meester becomes the babysitter to the typical rich NYC kid whose parents are never around. Check out the trailer below.

While We’re Young

While We’re Young is Noah Baumbach’s follow up to his hit of Frances Ha. The drama comedy, which premiered at TIFF, has a stellar cast with Ben Stiller, Adam Driver, Amanda Seyfriend, and Naomi Watts. The film explores couples in different parts of their lives. Watch the trailer below.

Happy Movie Watching!!
